The IMS Center for Physician Recruitment (IMS CPR) was launched in April 2010 by the Iowa Medical Society to assist IMS members in recruiting exceptional physicians to practice medicine in Iowa.

IMS CPR Recruiting kits are available for purchase to assist IMS members with recruiting efforts by visiting www.iowamedical.org/cpr. Each kit contains a DVD and a four-color brochure that features doctors talking candidly about why they love practicing medicine in Iowa, access to a recruiting webinar, a special run of IMS Resident Connect, a service that gives you the names and addresses of residents in five specialties who have a connection to Iowa, training materials to teach you how to enhance your recruitment efforts, and materials that will help you put in place a new physician orientation and retention program. Pricing for IMS CPR materials is based on the percentage of IMS members in your clinic or hospital.
